Chenai Machinjike is an experienced, qualified social worker with over 13 years of frontline and independent practice. She founded Machinjike Social Work Associates to deliver the highest standard of independent social work to courts, local authorities, and families across the West Midlands and beyond.

Throughout her career, Chenai has completed over 200 court reports for family courts in care proceedings, private law matters, and contested hearings. Her work is recognised for its analytical rigour, clear structure, and evidence-based approach.

Chenai brings specialist expertise in safeguarding, complex family assessments, and trauma-informed practice. She is deeply committed to cultural competence and to ensuring that every family she works with is treated with respect, fairness, and professional care.

As the sole director and lead practitioner of the consultancy, Chenai personally supervises and quality assures all assessments and reports - ensuring consistent quality and full professional accountability for every instruction accepted.
